The research developed in ECOBAS focuses on the priorities of society, such as climate change, inequality, aging, sustainable finance, and economic resilience. Those are approached from the viewpoint of social sciences, particularly Economics and Business, and supported by other disciplines such as Engineering, Sociology, or Psychology.
ECOBAS’ Scientific Agenda is comprised of consolidated lines of research with a long record endorsed by high-impact projects and publications. It also covers other emerging lines related to new R+D+i priorities arising in the European framework and other topics located in the frontier of knowledge, which will be supported and developed by the incorporation of new researchers to the Center.
