Research topics and main scientific contributions

In his research work he has made methodological contributions, aimed at introducing improvements in the quantification of inequality (from a centrist approach), intertemporal poverty, wage discrimination, segregation and the loss of welfare associated with it (thanks to the proposal of new indices), with empirical studies at the level of Galicia, Spain, Europe and the United States focusing on income distribution, unemployment, wage discrimination and occupational segregation based on sex, race, social class, migratory status and sexual orientation.
