Emma Iglesias, Professor at the University of A Coruña, appointed member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Gadea Foundation for Science.

Emma Iglesias, Professor of Applied Economics at UDC, University of A Coruña, has just been appointed member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Gadea Foundation for Science, in the Area of Economic Sciences.

In this Scientific Council we can find around 150 scientists from all branches of knowledge. This selection is made according to their scientific merits and awards.

In the area of Economics, of which the ECOBAS researcher becomes a member, we have other well-known names such as Professor Beatriz González López-Valcárcel; Andreu Mas-Colell, founder of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics; Manuel Arellano, nominated as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Economics; Antonio Cabrales, director of the Department of Economics at University College London; or Carmen Herrero, winner of the Jaume I research prize.

The Gadea Foundation for Science seeks to contribute with the help of these scientific people to “a better development of society, from the conviction that Science is an essential service in the plans and schemes of a modern state that should be favored by all, for the benefit of all”.
