Course “The new law on waste and contaminated soils: the role of rights in the transition to a circular economy”.
Thursday and Friday, June 9-10
ON-SITE AND ONLINE COURSE
DIRECTOR: J. JOSÉ PERNAS GARCÍA.
Professor of Administrative Law. UDC
The new Law of waste and circular economy was approved the past March 31st. Its impact will be highly relevant both in public administrations, responsible for waste prevention and management, as well as in the private sector, which will have to adapt to a new regulatory framework, with very relevant economic and organizational implications, therefore we consider that the course will be of great interest for several qualified professionals in the waste sector (senior management and technical positions in the local and regional administration, specialized lawyers, environmental consultants, technicians of waste management companies, staff of public companies, consortiums and associations of waste management, etc.).
All in all, this course is aimed at all those interested in the understanding and study of the policies and regulation on waste and circular economy: students, non-profit entities, general public, etc.
